Biography
Luis: Co-founder and padel consultant. 30+ years as CEO, consultant and entrepreneur. Winner 2025 Notts LTA Cathy Sabin award as volunteer of the year. National (UK) finalist for contribution to padel. PTR and LTA padel coach qualification, PTR tennis coaching qualification; multi-country experience as a tennis and padel coach.
He is the co-founder and Director of Senior Living Villages, a provider of solutions to the international retirement migration (IRM) market, assisting pre-retirees, retirees, families and digital nomads looking to make a permanent move to Portugal or Spain. As a result, he brings direct knowledge of www.padeltrips4u.com’s destination markets, and many contacts in the region, as well as speaking a number of Southern European languages.
Luis is responsible for analysing and vetting suitable padel trip programs, establishing www.padeltrips4u.com’s initial partnerships, with both padel clubs and local service providers, and for coordinating the very exciting 😒back office functions of the business during its growth stage. An enthusiastic sports practitioner for more than 50 years, Luis has also become adept at learning patience by taking greater care with the management of sports injuries, and is a great believer in playing in safe conditions and reducing risk as far as possible, especially among vets.
Luis is currently the Padel ambassador in Nottingham and is also helping organise the Nottingham Padel league alongside Pedro.
